A GPU (graphics processing unit) is what create images that connect up the the screen of the pc. GPUS are in control of the graphics that your PC outputs

CPUS- A CPU (central processing unit) is the most important part of a pc. It executes instructions and is the main processor of the PC. Sometimes the PC contains intergrated graphics which would makes the pc to be able to run without a graphics card.
RAM- RAM (random accses memory) is memory that is able to be changed and read. It is where your data is stored when the processor needs it or 'basically short term data'.
SSD- SSD (solid slate drive) is where you store all of your data. From photos to games, this is where all the data from them is stored
HDD- HDD (hard disk drive) is a hard drive that adds more storage onto your pc. Unlike the SSD this drive is much larger and bulkier
PSU- A PSU (power supply unit) is a hardware component that basically gives power to your whole pc. It gets power from your outlet and distributes it to other PC components.
Motherboard- A motherboard is a circut board that allows communication between all the crucial PC components. It is also connects certain cables like HDMI cables, VGA cords, Audio and Microphones and sometimes contains bluetooth to connect to devices wirelessly.
CPU Cooler and Chassis Fans The CPU Cooler and Chassis Fans are what prevent your components from over-heating. Not having these can lead to permanent damage to parts and data loss.
Case- A Case prevents things such as dust/bugs etc; from getting into your parts. It also stores all your parts into once place keeping them saving and making it look better. Cases can also create better airflow to prevent over-heating.
Display To display information you need a monitor. A monitor connects to your pc and recieves all the information and data and displays it. Kind of like a tv.
Operating System The operating system is what lets you communicate with the PC. It manages all the computer Memory and Processes.
Input devices Input devices are basically your keybard and mouse headphones etc... Its how you control and add information to your PC.
